Freeplay mod tech help
« on: June 12, 2015, 09:45:57 PM »
Hey all
I am trying to install IGT FREEPLAY by Dupuhini
I built the board, programed the IC, but having some confusion as where and what to connect to.
I would prefer to do all hookups on MPU, if possible.
He has:

COIN optic A   Negative pulse   u12 pin 2
COIN optic B   Negative pulse   u12 pin 3
COIN optic C   Negative pulse   u12 pin 4
Are these the correct connections?

I have found VB+ and B Gnd, ok there

Last 1 need help with is where button wire goes, or do I need to physically route wire to button? (Button is cash out).
The schematics I have are hard to see, so it's making this more difficult to figure it out.
If anyone has done and installed this, help is appreciated. Thanks!

Hello Crash0

Cant find his (Dupuhinis) Freeplay device on the old site - I documented something similar her using a 8 pin PIC.

On mine I simply removed the wires from the change button and wired my device directly to it.

Regards
Ian
