Hmmm, New York has a state lottery, am sure the folks who could least afford it don't buy those. Not to mention pari-mutual horse racing.

Gambling is supposed to be a recreation, entertainment. If your stupid enough to expect to win everytime, you deserve to lose.

The only thing I don't like about slots in a casino is the odds are not posted. Keno and video poker can be figured out by the paytable, not so with slots.

Destroying slot machines and/or closing every casino in the state will not stop gambling. They could stop all forms of now legal gambling and it still would not stop people from gambling. Making something illegal does not take away the will of the people who partake in the activity. Just look how successful prohibition was...

The only real fact learned from that video was . These people that want to control every aspect in your life to protect you were not even smart enough to were safety glass when smashing the slot machine . If flying glass or flying parts hit them they would need to sue someone for damages All that we're smashing the machine should be fined for providing a public danger. Government  liberals and fools all sit in the came boat and row with 1 oar and can't figure out why the direction can't be controlled P.B.

i live right outside nyc. i like how they conveniently forget to talk about the state run quick draw which is in almost every bar in the state.  worst odds ever and they only pay the bar owners 6 cents on every dollar sold.

Reminds me when my 3 years old son was trying to break his birthday Pinata  :dancing_2: with one difference, there are no sweets reward inside this EGM.
It's good that these guys took out their anger, later they can go back to the casinos and play peacefully.
What I do not understand, why they don't break some kiddie rides too, because, at least, in a slot machine You have the chance to take out what You had put in.

Big Government needs two things so citizens will approve of their agenda, victims (to pull on your heart strings) and villains (to anger you). In this case the victims are the poor people and the villain is a slot machine calling it a "mechanical pickpocket". A classic sight of hand, while you concentrate on destroying their designated villian the government pickpocket steals you blind.  :banghead:
