S2000 won't accept quarter's

I did try a different comparitor, not sure if it was a good 1 or not. I have no way of testing it. So optic board would be 1rst choice?

I even tried swapping out the harness, because that for some reason I had laying around. I have every other part laying around except the cc optics board

Followed this thread for the most part.  What a Barrell of monkeys.  Are you stating that you had a 100% working game and delivered it or shipped it?.  Sounds like it has had more hands on it than a street walker. The optics went bad in just transport- .  What happens when the coin drop optics does not fix the problem--?  Be glad and happy you are not working with all the newer stuff as this one should be a no brainer.  It does help to use verified good working parts to quickly diag. problems without busting out the meters and schematics-- called black-box tech's --change parts until it works --then after all that it doesn't-- Oh boy.

Another note, Perform and run all the tests and anylize all the data this old s-2k has to say-hopper tests, and more-(hint).

I bought the machine from matt everything worked 100%. I sold it to a guy and he calls me tells me doesn't accept quarter's now. Everything worked when it left my house. It's 1 of those things I have no clue what happens when it left my house.

I really wish I knew what happened between my house and his. It was trailered to his house, shipped upright, never laid down,not that should of mattered. I think I went through all the settings everything looks correct. I haven't had to mess with coins in 5 years. I hate coins haha. Like to keep it simple. Only thing I changed on the machine before it left was payouts from the hopper. Only thing I can think of is the optic board got screwed up from the drive. I know it's a long shot and doesn't sound likely but who knows with these nachines,I've seen some strange things happen

Did you go through and reseat all plugs back to the motherboard from the coin equipment and pull/reseat the door IO card(s)?

So this was weird, but I just had my Game King CC stop accepting tokens...just out of the blue.  I had a green light on the CC too.  I ended turning the adjustment dial all the way to the left, and that ended up fixing it right as rain.
