Thanks for the photos.

The cam armature plate appears to be BENT on the RIGHT SIDE. This part needs to move freely when the red cam turns,

The payout step up unit controls the pays.
Red spiral cam needs to spin back freely.
Manually advance the cam counter clock wise. Manually activate the cam release linkage.
It should spin back fairly fast.
Blue green switch also should move up and down freely.

the bent armature was bent back into place and the red cam spins good, I can step it up all the way and push the cam and it spins back into place really fast like it should. it does pay and pay the correct about when it works. sometimes it doesn't but i will reach in and flick the wiffleball up and that triggers the door divert latch so I know there is a some connections working. I'm going to get a fresh bottle of CLR and get cleaning... any advice on cleaning the female part of the plugs? or is that unnecessary?

I fold up a piece of the wet dry sand paper to clean them. It can be a pain to do but well worth it.

Assuming the payout step up unit is working properly.
The reel wipers may need cleaning and adjusting. Dirty wiper arm assemblies may move slowly or just stay stuck between wiper contacts.
Check wiper arms by manually pulling back then release, they should snap back into the reel index slot.

Testing the reel wipers for continuity.
Start by hooking one side of your meter to the gray wire near top left on the 3rd wiper board.
Run the other lead over the beau plug pins until you get a reading / beep, hook that lead to the pin.
Remove the top lead from the gray wire to confirm the beep should stop. Set up cherries on the pay line.
There should be continuity from the beau plug lead connection across the wipers to the first reel wiper board.
I believe it the white red wire is for the cherries. If no reading try moving the wiper arms slightly back and forth.
This test can be done for all payouts.
Myself once I find continuity for a certain payout I then confirm it at the beau plug.

I’m thinking the door light problems are coming from dirty beau plugs. I can’t tell you how many time just cleaning them, that I have fixed coin accepted and insert light problems.

is there a number on the back side of the reel glass that starts with a G-?  If so, that number can help ID the game...

there's also numbers stamped into the left side of the reel index plates.  They should be 484-something
