WBA for Bally Alpha

Remember they need to have the little RS-232 board on the side to work with the Alpha

I know we have some MEIs, but I will check this week and see if any of our parts machines have WBA set-ups. We haven't touched 80% of the games yet, so who knows. If I find anything, I'll let you know.

I need the complete WBA. I spent about 2 hours trying to get the one I have working somewhat decent with no luck. Usually I can get them to work OK but not this one. Time to cut it loose. I have the RS232 board on the unit I have now. Thanks. Bill.

I have had a handful that "should" have worked and ultimately I found the software was corrupt.  If it s WBA12 have you tried re-flashing with known good copy chip?  Or if a WBA13 have you tried a known good chip (I've had several where the software was corrupt on the chip)?  Also try a known good RS232 board.  You probably already checked harnesses for cuts and back plane.  Maybe try a new back plane.
