Other then adding coins, no and it will only let you add to the maximum amount. But as you win, you can accumulate them. Remember, this is an old machine. I'll check the boot up options when I get home and see if we can get it running.
Dormi will know this so hopefully he might check and reply.

What does the machine have mounted below the coin comparitor that sends a signal to the mpu to add a credit? If it is a coin trip switch you might be able to add a switch to the outside of the machine that will give you credits.

There is a coin trip/switch, (like in a pinball machine), but clicking it doesn’t credit up the machine. I’ll take a video. There are some connections that are disconnected, but thy seem to be where a bill collector used to be, but I really have no idea.

just some ideas,,,,,

Are you clicking the coin switch after selecting one of the poker games to play? Also, maybe the adding of credits is inhibited while the main door is open? May have to bypass the door open switch so the machine thinks the door is closed while you are testing the coin trip switch? Have you examined the coin in the coin comparitor, make sure it is a normal US quarter, same as what you are trying to insert from the front coin slot?

If the coin comparitor rejects the inserted coin back to the front tray of the machine then the coin comparitor doesn't like the inserted coin for some reason, or the coin comparitor is bad or has no power. On the backside of the coin comparitor there is a solenoid coil that pulls the "rake" metal piece out of the way so that an inserted coin will get accepted. For testing purposes you can force that rake out of the way with a piece of folded paper. That way the coin will pass thru the coin comparitor and then thru the coin trip switch. With the door closed see if that will add a credit.

So I selected a game, held the door switch closed, activsted the switch and still no credits.

The coin competitor has a red LED on it that is dark. I’m wondering if it should be lit.

Does anyone have some pics of their machine I can compare things to?

There is continuity from both wires attached to the coin switch, to the board behind the hopper also.  I'm stumped.

For those with this cabinet, does tripping that switch credit up your game?

Can you post a photo of the coin switch area? I believe that the coin switch is not used on your game. The CC40 does that. The gray and green wires are supposed to go a diverter solenoid. I'll pull my game out and take a photo.

*** Got the photo.  On these games they use an opto in the coin harness. They used the same on Games of Nevada machines and these went bad fairly often. This opto is in a piece of heat shrink in the coin harness. I had to replace the one on my game.

Thanks for posting your pic. Strange, the green and grey wires are attached to a switch, Hrm.

Should  the led on the CC40 be lit?  There is something in shrink wrap in the left side connector to the CC40, is that what you mention?  Thanks for your help!

I have marked with yellow arrows where the Gray & Green wires go. They should not go to the coin switch. The CC40 LED will turn on when the door is closed and the game is ready for play. If the CC40 does not work it could be the opto, CC40, the transformer on the door or the main board (but not too likely). The opto I spoke of is circled in yellow.

Be sure to put a coin in the CC40. Also, what is the output voltage of the transformer on the door?

Most of the CC are only lit when the door is closed.

One thing I noticed going back thru your photos. Is that your Yellow & Black wires coming off the transformer are opposite of mine.

I noticed that too.  I was getting no voltage there, and then I realized there were lamps behind the glass that were also out.  So I went hunting for fuses, had to remove the hopper and found the 1A fuse was blown.  I replaced that, and those are now lighting up.  It tuns out that those wires connected to that switch caused the fuse to blow.  Reconnected them to the coil behind the coin slide, and dropped a coin in.

It now takes coins, credits up and works!  The hopper spits out coins too!  Stoked!

Thank you all for your help!!!
