Early S+ with side BVD.  Got this little gem off craigslist. Both boards were acid damaged beyond even thinking about. Paid $100 for machine and stand together. Once I got the machine going, I checked the BVD. WOW it worked. Went to retrieve my $20 and found an extra $42 in the can. And to think he was so snippy about the quarter in the coin comp.

He may not have even tried or checked the BV?? I know I always pull the cash cans and check them when I sell off a machine..

Me too. When showing it works, I put a 20 in. Easy to forget. I asked if the BVD worked and got the run around saying they never used it, only quarters. I had never opened a side mount before, so I didn't mess with it.

You could alway email the seller back and say, you should have checked it, and nothing more. 🧐

Got a S+ BV head and transport in with a $100 bill in the transport.
Called the customer and told her what I found, she said "well that was  test, and you passed".

That’s a little different being your a repair business..  I know any loose change I find in my repairs goes on my change can.

I may try to contact him. Lives in a gated community, met me at gate. Followed him in and out. So don't have his address.
