V7000 coinless problems

I have a v7000 that I never got a hopper with, so I bypassed it with a bypass plug ..actually just jumped the wires as if the plug was there .... set it up and when cashing out it goes to hand pay like it should .... sold the game and delivered it and 2 days later he’s getting and error “game disabled hopper empty”  what can I do to prevent this ? And how can I get him past that error ..... it shouldn’t be looking for a hopper ...
I have the credit limit at 10k .... hopper pay at 0
He loaded 10,000 credits in to play till it quit accepting $$$ ... them first win pushed it beyond 10k .... now it’s looking for the hopper to pay the difference ... before that anytime you’d cash out it would go to HP lockup .... why is it not now ?? Frustrating thing is nothing can be changed with credits on the game ... and there’s no way I know of to get these off

reset it with clear chip.that should solve your problem,then reprogram back to how you had it,thats what i would do,and tell him not to go over 10,000 credits or it will happen again,,,,,,,,,,,,

Some of the games have max wins of 40k ect .... any way to have it HP the surplus ?? On cash out it goes to hp but over 10k it’s lookin for the hopper .... is there a newer set of mains I can run that have “no hopper” for an option???

can you set the hand payout to alot more then 10.000 after you clear ,i know when it goes to hand pay out you just reset with turning the key on side of machine for jackpots as well,

That’s what I want is HP for any and all pays ....games not here it’s at my friends pretty far away I’m gonna have to scoot over there when I have time and clear it for him and set it up again .... I picked up another one last night on trade ... I’ll play with that one here so I know what options I have before I go see him ..... prob clear n crank the max credit limits to the moon way beyond any max prize on any game should do the trick if the limits let me go that high

im sure that should do the trick,i have had problems with mine, cant get the bill acceptor to work,it takes nickles ,i set the payout to 10,000 and when i hit a big payout i turn the jackpot key, and then continue to play,

Max credit limits on this is at 10k now ..... I should be able to go way above that ... otherwise it’s gonna do it everyone he hits a royal on max bet .... not that’ll happen often but my luck it’ll be every week lol .... I’m gonna mess with this other one later n see how high I can crank them ... it’ll be nice if they go to 9999999

i cant remember what they go to,but when i hit a big payout ,it goes to hand payout and lights and sound goes off, just hit lackpot key and it goes back to what ever credits i had before i hit jackpot,good luck ,you can set it to hand payout on big hits and then just use the side key ,to reset back to credits left,

The mains I have in there don’t have an option for no hopper so I can only for a hand pay by setting hopper limit to 0 ..... with that limit at zero any cash out goes to go buy this one defaulted to hopper after the credit limit was reached it’s strange
