17" Game King Refurb

I must be a glutton for punishment. No sooner do I start making progress on the refurb of the 1996 19" GameKing I find this poor neglected 17" GK on Facebook. Cabinet exterior is in rough shape and the CRT popped the instant I powered the game on (deducted $50 for that!) - but other than that she is in reasonable shape. Lots of little things need to be done. Fortunately in this case the parts are readily available and I have a 17" lcd + new 3M touchscreen which I can put together.


Going to add the netplex printer to the topbox and TITO.

Update - The 17" GK "Little Boy" is almost done! Have a re-cap to do on the Audio Amp board to fix an audio problem, then some config and final cleaning.

Awesome job once again on the  refurb, looks amazing! The 526 base chip is a nice 4.0 GK set, plenty of games and variety between poker keno and slots :)

Not hard to do, don't even need to key it to do so. Just go thru the test menu. I believe it comes up as "site location" and getting to it varies depending on software IIRC. Once there, you will see an on-screen keyboard where you can enter address, state, zip, etc
