Clearing Game King

  Greetings all:




                What are the chances that these chips (IVC0024, & KEY00045) will work with my Game King?    Or perhaps a "look-see" pics with you folks is in order.

It depends on what MPU board you have in your Game King.

Those are S2000 clear/keys.  You need Key 22 or 40 if you have a 38/3902 board, or Key 28 if you're using an 044.  Contact member RB, he can hook you up with them.

     Once again this is all real good info.   I'm waiting for my wife to come back with her SmartPhone cause the first pics she took were too overexposed.


            Now how about this (or may I should change pages here).   Can the 31 game GameKing machine be changed to a 81 game?

You can get to 62 or so with Game King 5.3 software.  80+ games is going to be a 044 platform.  Older 13" & 19" cabinets had different I/O and motherboards and can't be upgraded.  17" and 19" panda cabinets can be.  You have to install a new motherboard and MPU (with game flash card).  Superstar Poker is the most desired as it has quite a variety of poker games as well as a couple of full version video slot games.

      I would settle for the 61 games at this point.    Need to get the MPU pics to you folks (they are pending...from my wife's smartphone).   Not sure what my software issue is (perhaps the menu through the side of the cabinet key accessed provisioning could tell me).

Photos have to be 1MB or less to post, so you may need to resize them to meet that requirement.
You can find out what software version you have by pressing the mpu self test button, then touch accounting, then program version information.  It will take a few seconds for the screen to populate.  Post the G000XXXX, M000XXXX, and C000XXX numbers and we can tell you what Game King version you have.

     Yeah, thanks.   My wife worked with "Rockin Elvis" regarding the size of the pics when she worked with them with the Haywire.


                     I'll check out that info on the key access menu's on the side of the GameKing.

Yeah, Ron I'm interested and having lots of fun here.    Trying to get into the menu on the GameKing to find out what version software I have here.     My wife failed with her quest for regible photos of my MPU.   I was trying to look with the menu available by using the key switch on the outside right side of the GameKing (per Dave).


          If you could instruct me a little bit farther and I'll try and tell you what my software is so you can come up with the chips necessary to do some serious provisioning here.

If it's not printed on the EPROMs on the MPU board, then you can get the version information by following the instructions I gave you in the post above.  The MPU self test button is located next to the LEDs on the MPU tray.  It's usually white in color, but sometimes chrome.  Press it, a menu will appear on the screen, then touch accounting, and program version information.  Wait 15 seconds or so and the screen will populate with the version information.

     Thank you;      Resizing of the pics, they must have flown cause RB was able to see enough to get a handle on what I needed for my MPU on my GameKing.
