Ram error on IGT Pharaohs Fortune

Hi to anyone taking the time to read this. I am new to the world of slot machines so bare with me. I purchased a Pharaohs fortune slot machine a couple of years ago in working order. It has worked ever since until the other day I turned it on and it said main battery low so after a bit of googling found a post on here explaining how to replace it which I have done but it now says Ram error - turn attendant key for more information. A further issue being that I don’t have an attendant key or anywhere to insert one if I did. Any help or advice anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Pick a key up from a vendor here or ebay, they're only a couple of bucks.  2341 is the standard key most all machines use. 

In the meantime, you can take the wires off the switch and jump them together with a piece of wire or paperclip to simulate turning the keyswitch.   That will get the machine working again while you wait on a key.

You will also probably want to pick up a keychip for it if you don't already have one.  You will need it to change some of the machine options.

Thanks for taking the time to reply, so there is no key switch just a hole in the side of the machine. There are 4 wires that look like they may have been connected to the switch, 2 black+red,1 black+blue and 1 green+ yellow(earth). Do you know which 2 wires I would need to short together?

The black with a red tracer and yellow with a green tracer are the ones for the jackpot reset keyswitch.

Ok so that did something, it now says press and hold the test switch for 2-3 seconds. Next questions is where is the test switch located?  Sorry if these are stupid questions but as I said I’m new to all this. Thanks in advance for your time.

It's a white or chrome colored pusbutton switch located to the left of the LED lights on the MPU board.  The MPU board is located right below the monitor shelf.  Follow the onscreen directions and it will eventually come up to game screen and say Options Verification required.  Touch Ok, and then it should be ready to put credits on and play.
