S-AVP Reel Backlighting Issue

Ok, this may be hard to explain, but here's the issue.


On my personal S-AVP,  I've noticed that the 1st Reel backlight on winning combinations is a different color than reels 2 and 3. It doesn't matter which game is installed and swapping the reel doesn't change anything.


I've attached a photo showing what it looks like. Instead of being white, it almost looks red or has an amber tone. Me being me, can't stand it. Lol.


Since it's not the reel itself, what would cause that color to be incorrect?


Is there a Reel Backlight Controller or Card somewhere that could be causing this, or is it MPU related?


New to the platform and haven't had to do much maintenance other than cleaning fans and changing batteries.


Hoping someone can point me in the right direction to fix this problem. Especially while I've still got some extra machines sitting around to grab parts from.

Not really sure, but if it were me, I would first try swapping the reel shelf board.

There are 2 different 'color' reel types for AVP, older and newer. You simply have 2 older style LEDs and one newer, 2 warm white and a cool white.

Look behind the strips and you'll see the difference in the little LEDs.
