IGT sPlus Not registering credits

We have just purchased this machine as well as a Bally S5500. Thankfully we found this forum and the wealth of information. Thank you! The IGT s-plus Double Diamond is accepting coins but not registering credits. No error code is displayed. Machine works as it should but requires a reset after every win.

When you say not registering credits do you mean it is paying them out in coins?

Can you expand on "Machine works as it should but requires a reset after every win."? Since we're not there to see what it's doing or not doing, can you please give us a lot of detail on what's happening?

You cannot add credits to the credit meter by inserting coins (in a typical S+ setup). You can insert up to the maximum number of coins that the game will accept for one max bet spin, and then you must spin the reels. The game should reject any additional coins inserted beyond the maximum bet.

If you're able to take a video of what your machine is doing or not doing, it would be very helpful for us to be able to diagnose what's going on with it. Upload the video to YouTube and post a link here if you can.

Thank you for the suggestions. Sorry for not responding sooner, life got busy and we have not had the time to work on the slot machines. The machine is taking the coins and we are able to spin the reels. Every time we win, the candle lights up like a jackpot win and we have to reset the machine.

Make your photo file smaller...like 1000kb or smaller in pixels on one side maintaining aspect ratio size ...either vertically or horizontally.
Save it as a .jpg file and upload it to"Attachments and other options" to any of your posts by using the "Modify" button.
I use a free online paint.net program to edit my photos.

Try emailing the .jpg to yourself.  My (Outlook) mail automatically offers to reduce the attached image file.  I do a "save as" just before sending and get a MUCH smaller file to post.

Based on your updated information it sounds like we just need to change the credit limit setting(s) on your machine so it will add credits to the meter on a win rather than locking up in a hand-pay mode.

Open door and press white test button until you see a 7 in the coins played window.
Tell us what numbers are in the winner paid window, press white button again and tell us what numbers are in the credits window.

You need a 7 in coins played window

with a 7 in the coins played it displays 0 00 then 000 in the winner paid and 0 then 1 in the credits

Your best bet with that is to upload your video to YouTube, and then post a link here to the video on YouTube.
