Reel Strip adhesive tape recomendation?

What is the recommended double sided tape to use these days on the S Plus reel strips to keep them together? I was looking on Amazon and there are so many different types now.  They come in permanent and removable types with all kinds of different applications.
If I get the removable type, will that be strong enough to hold the strip together?  On the other hand, if I use the permanent type, will I be able to remove the strip without damaging it? Any recommendations and a specific brand and type?  Thanks!

I just use scotch double sided tape. It's strong enough to hold, and easy enough to take apart.

I use scotch permanent double sided tape, it will come off if needed without damage.

    It works pretty good and isn't permanent if you want to remove it later.

I'll be different.

I use a little dab of Rubber Cement to hold the ends together.

The excess wipes off easily when you squeeze the strip ends together and it is not permanent, but strong enough to adhere the end of the strip without it coming off and flopping around.

I just find it easier to use than tape.

Anyway, whatever works best for you is what you need to use.
