IGT S+ No Sound

I just got an IGT S+ machine and had to change out the battery.  Got a 61 in the winner paid window that I couldn't clear so I did a ram clear and got the 61 to clear.  Now there isn't any sound when a coin is inserted or when the reels spin.  I couldn't find option 2 in the menu to change it to 2-1.  I adjusted the blue wheel on the mpu board to increase the volume but no help. Game chip is a 731. Any help would be great.

Is the speaker connected and working?  Is is inside the belly.  Open the door that flips down and it will be in the lower left.  You might want to test out the speaker to make sure it is working by connecting it to some amplified source.

To add to what Rick said, there is no self-test setting that will completely mute the machine.  There are settings that control whether or not the machine plays "music" as the reels spin, but even with that off you'd still hear dings as coins are inserted or won.  If you have zero sound at all, suspects would be the potentiometer (the blue volume knob), the wiring to the speaker, and the speaker itself.

Problem solved, I tried changing out the game chip and reel chip with no help.  I then changed the mpu board and success.  I'm guessing it must be be the blue potentiometer.
