Wondering if anyone has any suggestions for me as I screwed something up


recently install a Columbia jurisdiction chip and I set jackpot pay to 7k Everything up and running fine

hit a jackpot for like 10k
was a handpay /reset jackpot key
And while the meters were still running I shut the machine off
And loaded clear card to set up game again with higher jackpot


now the machine won’t clear and gets stuck on this screen


have tried pulling the 2 batteries in the cpu and unplugged the power to power supply
Waited over an hour and same thing
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Prepart Dss valadation failed with all keys halting, this is usually a bad card.

Do you have the clear card in the OS card slot and nothing in the game card slot?

And yes only the clear card  (SCLR-000-1851)in the os slot

Do you have another clear card?

Did you do anything with this clear card like try to read or copy it on your computer?

I just tried another clear card I had and still same issue
It only starts up for like 30 sec then just stops


And no have not done anything to clear card

it just stops where?  What error message.  Prepart DSS validation fail is a bad card.

I guess I bent and broke off one of the far outside gold pins where the
OS card goes in and it was stopping the card from fully seating
After removing it and I thought I needed a new cpu
Idesign suggested that usually the outside pins sometimes don’t do anything
And he was correct
Everything up and running
