WMS BB1 status message - Validation not set

I have a Zeus II BB1 machine that was working great. Decided to change out the game to Tiger's Realm so went ahead and did a RAM clear with a SCLR-000-1810 card with no issues. Installed the OS and Game cards and rebooted, didn't seem to have any issues. Got into the main setup and configured the system, chose the credit types and set up the game percentages, etc. I think I have selected everything correctly and got the status messages down to just operator menu and main door open, so far so good. I closed the main door and let everything do its checks and it pops up with WMS standard blue screen and the Call Attendant box. In the Attendant menu I now have the status message Validation Not Set. Can't figure out how to clear it so decide to try another game I have, Moolah. Get the same message in the end. Switch back to Zeus II and now get the same message with that game as well so now I'm stuck. All of the CF OS and Game cards are original WMS cards with the original software and labels, the BIOS is SBOT 00001-2000 and the RAM clear is SCLR-000-1810 any suggestions?

When you are performing your setup you also need to set your Comm Options

Comm Option
Host 1 set to SAS Primary
Config tab next to SAS Primary select, this brings up another page, set your Validation type, Standard if you have it if not set as System
Bottom right select Previous
This brings you back to the Host setup page, in the middle the tab for Host Setup, select this tab
Machine Control set as SAS Primary
If you are using a Printer select your Voucher Out to SAS Primary
Select previous and continue as usual

How do you turn off the game counters in setup? WMS BB2?
