Sorry for the ignorance but I'm not sure how to communicate on the forum. I'm hoping my wife can send some pictures from her I Phone but not sure how to accomplish that

We do not look down on anyone here. Another way to figure this out, Does your machine have speakers on each side of the top box? Also where your pull handle is will show the year, that will help also. If you have a S+ we determine which SS chip you have. If it is a S2000 then a key chip is needed to change %. When your wife takes picture she should see an option before sending to resize, make like 30% and it will post here. You are not the first to have trouble and that is why us volunteers are here to help others. Oh yea. Welcome to NLG

Appreciate your patience greatly. This Haywire does have speakers on the top. Also a speaker on the coin tray at the bottom (for what I don't know). No date by the handle/lever.
I could pull the MPU and take the shroud off/remove cover. So if a pic of the circuit boards & chips would be helpful.

Yes, pull the mpu and let us know what chips you have. SB, SG, and most importantly if it has a SS chip. You have a S2000, but it may be using S+ chip

OK now we have information.
It is an S2000 with a 500 series mpu
If the machine is working and all you want to do is adjust the pay back % you will need to purchase a key chip if you don't have one. Member RB should be able to help you out. Probably should get a clear chip also as you might need one in the future.
We recommend a Key 45 and a Clear 225 because they will work with most S2000 board sets (in case your slot machines multiply)
If you do have another key chip you can use that.
Key 17, Key 31 will also work.
When you get one we can teach you how to use it.

This is so wonderful; what a great service/courtesy. Now where do I find RB because I want to purchase from fellow members so as to support this help. Also, anyone have access to a source of hard copy of a owners manual where I might find the "how to" maneuver around the menu's from the "Cash Out, Change, etc. et. al. buttons. Failing a hard copy, a download would have to do...at least how to provision the machine.

I got the Haywire IC Chips in record time (thanks Ron). Now on to the procedures where's theres a veritable "plethora" of them at the IGT S2000 link.
