IGT Forth of July what model

I am trying to figure out what series this is

That is NOT an S+.

That topbox label with the green line is an inspection sticker from the assembly line.

Make, mode, and DOM should be stamped on a metal plate under the slot handle - outside right.

What are the etched numbers on the bottom of main MPU circuit board?


BTW You're missing a coin mechanism and a door panel....coins must be flying all over the place in there! lol

Coinmach was taken off to get to solenoid that was making noise it's on now

There is no tag near slot handle
I believe it's an SP  127
With boot up showing 1 2 7

You've pulled up partial numbers either of an SP chip or credit amount on the machine by using the internal accounting method that is designed for an S+.....Your machine is NOT an S+
Can you turn off the power, pull out the MPU and see if there's any numbers etched onto the surface of the circuit board?
IGT etched numbers onto both sides of the circuit board towards the ends....it will help determine exactly what you have.
I am positive that your machine is an earlier model IGT put out BEFORE the S+ came out.
How do I know this for fact?
I've been working with S+'s for about 20 years....I do not know much about the earlier makes and models.
One thing certain, it's either an "M" or straight "S" model.
Looking for etched writing on the MPU might help us find out exactly what you have.

Hmm...Remove 3 screws and a connector to the transformer will allow you to see what's written on that board underneath.
But I'm sure some of the older guys might be able to tell what that MPU is for.
