Hello,
A friend collected this machine and it was not working.
The Base chip had 2 broken legs and the previous owner had tried to resolder them without succeeding. Has the heat damaged the Base chip?
I managed to solder new legs on the chip, but I am not sure that the previous owner did not reverse the direction of the chip...
I do have a KeyChip.
I can do the procedure described here (
http://newlifegames.com/nlg/index.php?topic=883.0) by going to point 18 ->
Power down your machine, remove the board, and replace the Key chip with your original game chip. Make sure it is put back in the correct direction.Then I never get the RAM Error message from point 19 ->
Turn the machine. After awhile an alarm will sound via the speakers and you will see the message "RAM error". Turn your jackpot key twice at this time. The machine will continue the boot process.The machine displays the blue screen in photo with the message:
Processor will automatically restart upon completion of download
