S+ Game in S2000 Cabinet, Is Multi-Denom Available?

Don't know if this goes in the S+ Category or the S2000,  but here's my question...


I recently built a Double Jackpot Haywire game using the SB00100 Base chip and DJH prom on a 504B board.


It was set up as a single denominion game with a GX0 Version Chip.


Since I have the extra button on my deck to select denomination,  I figured I'd try to make it mult-denominational. So I changed the Version Chip to a GX1 and cleared the machine.


Upon programming it, I noticed that I still couldn't access any of the multi-denom menu items in the Keychip menu.


Is this because I'm using an S+ chip? Will that not support Multi-denominational features because all of the pay table information is on the SS prom?


Just curious. Set the machine back up to its original single denom setting and it still plays great.

Fixed my typo in Chip designation.

It should support multi denom with a GX1 & compatible SG chips. SB100010 Is for 2C Triple Stars, Triple Lucky Sevens, Triple Red Hot 7s, Triple Butterfly 7s. You should be using SB001000.

Snap a shot of the front of the machine.  Does it have a 5-5-2 display? If it has a 6-6-3 that may be your issue.
The 5-5-2 will use a button on the panel and a 6-6-3 must use the touch screen denom on the reel glass.
Just a thought.

RB is correct, I had my chip numbers off when I typed this last night. I do have the correct SB chip and the display is a 5-5-2.


Here's a couple of pictures.


With the current configuration, it will not open any of the multi-denom menus items after a clear.


It's not a huge deal, but I have a $1, 2 and 5 Multi denominational topper on the game, so I figured I'd add the other 2 denoms.

I believe you need to swap SG's:

SG000251
GAME TYPE
This version supports S2000 games with single denomination

SG000251 may use VS009YX0 (Y = C, G, I, S, V), or replacements.  VS010NX0 (or replacements) is for use in New Jersey.

Any idea which SG's will work with the Type 2 Haywire theme and support multi-denom?

Use 363s if you have them. Others will work.
