Fairly new (to us) slot machine. I was having issues before that I solved about a month ago by switching out the MPU and the coin optics. It’s been playing fine since. Yesterday it got an error code 43. I’ve researched some other posts about this error and I think I’ve tried some of their recommendations but not seeing anything specific.
I switched out (I think) the Reel connectors between reel 2 & 3 and the error stayed 43 when I powered up. I switched the 9-pin Molex connectors below the Reel tray.
I took out the MPU (which I just purchased a month ago from another member of these forums) so I wouldn’t think it would be an issue there, but I did take a pic of the 5 resistors. They look ok to me, to my lay eye. I’ve attached a picture of the resistors (I think the correct ones?)
Lastly, I read about switching out the actual reels but I wasn’t sure how to do it. I see the plastic hooks on the bottom-front of the reel tray and I tried to gently pry the connector out from the bottom of the tray but I didn’t want to break it (there was a lot of resistance). I couldn’t figure how to properly switch the reels.
Any advice would be appreciated.
