Max Hopper Pay Limits Amount of Credits Accumulated

I am new to this. I just got 2 IGT S+ machines and i want to know if there is a way to set so it will not pay out coins more than 500. The machines are basically for my own use but at times there may be others playing and i dont want to pay out more than $125.
Also, i want to put a bill validator in the one for sure, but not quite sure what is the correct one to get.

to set the hopper payout limit, make sure no credits on the machine, open the door, find the tiny white test button, usually located next to the power on/off switch (depending on which model you have). press the button each time until you see a 7 in the coins played window,  there should be a number in winners paid display, the first digit should be flashing, either use the change/service button to move the flashing digit to the next position etc. when you get to the correct position, use the spin button to change the number,  do this for each digit so you will see a 0500 in the window, now press the white test button again, change this number to reflect 0500 in the same manner,  press the white button again now you should see a 8 in the coins played window, change this to 0500 in the same way. 

post pictures of your machine to see what you have so we could make recommendations as to what has to be done.

pictures have to be less than 1 meg in size.

even if your machine does not have a validator one can be added outside the machine, however you would have to construct a housing to hold the unit.

I test units outside the machine all the time.,I have all the parts to complete this.

set all those limits to zero,  read the flip cards in the pre section for the S+, explains a lot of the settings on this machine.

You machine will go into a hand pay …. you will need a jackpot reset key to allow the machine to play again.
If your concerned about pay out - you may consider changing your machines to coins.


The machine that does not have a validator... does it look the same inside as the one that does ?? if not it could be an older S slot that is not capable.


If your machine is an early model S+ without a bill validator then perhaps you might want to look into buying a whole other machine with a bill validator as it might be cheaper than buying the parts and building a bird house on the side to hold it.

If you are using a cell phone to take the picture - send it to yourself first as an email.
You will normally be given the option to reduce the size of the picture to 800k or something like that.
The smaller 800k picture (below 1mb) can be uploaded to NLG.


With cell phones sporting high rez cameras in the 16 - 64 megapixel range - images can be huge.

Forgive me if I'm reading into this incorrectly, but it is illegal and a horrible idea to allow people to gamble real money on a slot machine you own.  We do not offer support to folks trying to conduct illegal acts here.

Also, for what it's worth, you can make adjustments on the machine to limit how many coins the machine will pay out from the hopper to make larger pays "hand pays", but there is no adjustment to set the machine to not hit large payouts or jackpots.
