how to get on NLG "worst reputation" list?

New member here still exploring this site.


How does one get on the "worst reputation " list.  Some very interesting, entertaining content !  Seriously, its informative.


No of complaints (who monitors them?), content?, Bad buying/selling practices?, useless information wasting web resources...


Just part of my process of deciding if I should become a contributing member...

A contributing member is a donation that goes to pay bandwidth and other hosting costs. Its not a membership fee.
In recpicality you get access to the download area and classifieds.

To use the NLG classifieds you need to be a contributing member, so posts for selling outside of the classifieds are moderated.
All posts are moderated. If we get spam, or inflammatory posts going on we clean them up. This extends to hate, or illegal activity or links to such.


We also keep all copyrighted material off of the site, such as binary files but also copy/paste from Slot Tech mag or Las Vegas Sun, Huffington Post QOD etc.
However links to these third party sites are just fine.




If you subscribe to a particular political view - your welcome to your opinion, and we have a raves and rant section …. but keep it out of your post looking for assistance.


Hateful or disrespectful posts are reasons for banning.



In terms of what annoys forum:
-  Demanding answers -  basically someone posts a problem, and if someone doesn't answer immediately they get upset. Once again this is not a service that guarantee answers, its a forum of people who freely donate their time and genuinely enjoy helping people.
- An unwillingness to troubleshoot or test using the advice they are given and then whining that things still don't work.
- Not giving back - if you have been helped, and can help others that's just part of being in the community. Nothing worse than a hit and run.

But there are participants that get a minus score of over 1000, and some getting -500 score. May I ask what does that mean? Were those given by the moderators?

There is a Karma button at the bottom of the post .... but that is mostly ignored.
