8gb Ram for a NTX 3.2 CPU

Has anyone upgraded the RAM from 4gb to 8gb in a NXT 3.2 CPU?   


The current RAM is  (2) 2gb 1Rx8 DDR3 1333 SO DIMMS (photo attached) but all I can find in the same type/speed 4gb RAM is 2Rx8.  So was wondering if this would work?

It's an upgrade Steve.  I bought some on Amazon so will know later today when they arrive if they work.

OK, I will answer my own question, it works.  The machine now runs fine with 8 gb ram installed.  Runs smoother now too.

Jeff - Was there a certain brand you bought? I think mine might have 4gb but haven't seen any games so far that needs 8gb. Where are you noticing speed enhancements? Just curious if its worth it for me since I hate most of the BB3 software.

Same type ram as in the machine now just 4 gb each, 2Rx8.  I bought Samsung on Amazon.  I needed it for a special project I am working on that required more ram in the CPU in order for it to work more smoothly.
