The more information you can give us the better we can assist you, and hopefully with your experiences here you can further assist other members. Pictures are often worth more than the proverbial 1000 words. If you take pictures with a cell phone, send them to yourself and you will be given an option to reduce size and then you can easily post to NLG. Make sure your profile is up to date and as there are a million WebCrawler's out there best not to put your email address in an open post as that is the quickest way to find yourself on a spam list. 34

(Off-Topic Post Welcome) / Re: The NLG Welcome Wagon« Last post by tunaman on Yesterday at 04:06:48 PM »New member here - just received my first two slot machines today (from SMU) and look forward to learning all about them with some help from the community here. Slots are both Bally S9000 Alpha, I believe - one is a Hot Shot and the other is a 7 Wild Quick Hit.
Neither of them survived the trip across country unscathed - they were undamaged but neither would initially boot fully. After reseating the CPU on the Quick Hit the machine fully initialized and is now functional Still having an issue with the Hot Shot, so working through it still. NLG seems to have the most informative hits in my searches, so I decided to join the community. Thanks in advance for this resource and the member contributions! 35
WMS Williams Video / Re: williams BB2 no top box communication, and how the heck do you open the top?« Last post by sccarlso on Yesterday at 03:33:15 PM »Yep,if you wanted to switch to a static button deck you would need the wiring harness for it unless there are a bunch of connectors are in your machine now with a static button harness still there from it having a static deck before and being upgraded. Also, there are some games that require the OLED button deck. But not many.
Spin inc usually charges the most for parts... Even on eBay BB2 OLED button decks sell for $400, and they may not be in great condition.. So if you intend to replace it, better to get one that's like new from GET-T for $395 instead of one that's in an unknown condition. https://get-t.net/product/bp105/ Either can be done but the OLED button deck looks a lot better than the static buttons. And no wiring is needed. Just the USB and power connectors. 36

It looks like it's solid in there, but take a few screws off the back of the main door and it slides right out... Then just plug the USB cable and power cable in, slide it in, reattach the screws and it's done. 39

SIGMA Reel Games / Maxim max7219cng ic chip« Last post by John jackson on Yesterday at 12:43:59 PM »Ok here is one for the techs, i did testing on my driver board for my led display meter and the 7219 chips tested bad so I take them out and put the new ones I ordered in and my LEDs are working but the chips get real warm I mean warmer then they should , so further inspection I look at the chips and they are not the 7219 CNG ones , it says they are and well I looked them up and I got fake ones , i understand from what I searched there is a replacement 7221 ic chip that is identical should I go with that one instead since there's alot of fakes on the original because my meter aren't working right and getting hot
