EPROM burners and flash programmers

I am looking for a new burner/flash programmer.  What suggestions do you have, and where can I get one from.

You can get cheaper programmers but I recommend Batronix. I have one. It's fast, easy to use can handle 40 pin dip eproms without an adapter. I bought mine on recommendation from our departed & missed member Buzz & have no regrets. They are about $100 less than when I purchased mine. Got it in just a few days DHL from Germany. Customer support is great & software updates are free. 48 pin models are available as well but more expensive.

Before buying I'd figure out what eproms and other devices you will be wanting to program, then make sure whatever model programmer you are considering can program those chips. Sometimes people buy the programmer then find out it can't program a particular chip without a costly optional adapter, or it won't program them at all. Not all programmers can handle every device. Read the "device supported" list for the programmer you are looking at to see what it works with.

I also own a GQ-4X and second the recommendation.  So far I have only used it for slots, but it has worked great for me.
