adjust/change resolution on Tatung monitor

Model L20XX being used in alpha 9000 machine.
I have 5 machines, One machine has resolution set as in picture 1 (1360x768 @59hz), the other four are set as in picture 2 (800x600 @56hz).
Is there a way to change the resolution???

Try a different vga cable.  The MPU is supposed to poll the monitor about it's resolution capabilities and use the correct one, if the pin used for the polling is missing or damaged, it defaults to 800x600.  Does the settings not allow you to switch resolutions.  Sometimes the monitors are locked at a specific resolution.  Also I have found in the case of bb2's that if the bottom monitor is 800x600, then even if the top is a widescreen, it will also go into 800x600. Is this a dual video alpha or an elite with reels and a 20 inch top?

it is a 5 reel with top monitor as are the other 4 machines.  I'm not sure if changing to 800x600 will help picture, right now it is a little fuzzy.

You want the native 1366x768, that's why it looks blurry because it is scaling the picture to fit the screen.

Rick, should it be be 1366 instead of 1360????  Also the machines that are set ar 800x600 have real clear pictures, it's the 1360x768 that is fuzzy.

sorry it is 1360x768.  Are these widescreen monitors or the 4:3 aspect ratio ones?

I have 4 Alpha's with the Tatung L20XX monitors.They all have excellent pictures.
There is at least 1 that has 1360x768 and at least 1 that has 800x600 resolution.
They happen to be next to each other and there is no noticable difference .
I think your problem is with the video driver ?

Looks like all possible avenues on this problem have been addresed.  When you get machines in bulk/buy from wherever this can be expected. Esp. since these are going to be re-sold.  I got a good idea where this batch came from.
