getting into a old Mills

I have a old 1940's mills nickle slot, its locked and I dont have the key. has a old sticker that says key 16

is this a standard key for mills that I can locate?
looking at the lock it might not be smart to drill it . the lock appears to be part of a larger mechanism

any tips to get into this, should I work on picking the lock? can i drill it? can i buy a key16?

Great post ... DO NOT DRILL it out. Is your machine a High or a Half Top.... Please post a pic. If your interested in talking about the ways to get into it, please PM me and I will give you my # so you can call. I am in Philadelphia but travel the East Coast in seeing my grand kids.
