Top Dollar savp for sale

I'm considering buying this Top Dollar machine but know nothing about video slots. It looks like an S-AVP ? It has three games including Pinball. 
I'd like some opinions or pros & cons on this machine for home use and what should I look for in purchasing it ?

It is not an S-AVP (S-AVP is a Stepper which uses mechanical reels).  It's an SMLD machine with a 32inch monitor modification.  The bottom screen is a Multi Level Display that emulates a 3d type field, the effect is quite good, IGT calls it Reel Depth.  There are a handful of games that play in that configuration, maybe 20 or 30.  It is something I want to do to one of my machines, but I also have another machine that has the standard horizontally mounted monitor on the top which is what most games will use.  You can still play any game on that machine, the top monitor would just display sideways

That top box was fabricated by the seller.


From what I can see in the photos, it doesn't look too bad, but it's definitely not factory.


I've seen the machine for sale and those photos of it before, and from what I know, the seller seems legit. I know he is quite knowledgeable and a very good slot tech with a lot of experience.


If the game works and it's what you're looking for, then I'd say go for it.


Just my 2 cents.

This is what the Top Dollar AVP machine looks like. They are quite rare, with only one or maybe 2 on each casino floor I've seen them.  Not all casinos seem to have them now since they are an older game. They were on Gen1 G23 cabinets with the special top (which looks really cool).  You are probably not going to find an OEM cabinet, and if you do it will be buck$$$.  If you like the games, then what the seller is offering will work perfectly well.  If you really want the leds on the top, It is easy now to get led strips and various lighting that you can put together for a nice facade and attach it to the front of the black bezel.

I sure would like to find a factory tall top machine, anyone know who's got them?
