Slot Machine Schematics

      Hello friends,

                           Who remembers the "Sam's Photofacts" manuals?   The Howard W. Sams Troubleshooting and Repair Guide to TV     I finally sent my Oscillloscope out for repair and calibration (Tektronix 485).   Now if I  could find some schematics for my IGT machines.  Remember those could provide not only schematics but photographs and diagrams as well.

You're a contributing member.  Go to the file system and download what you're looking for.  They don't have photos, waveforms, or test points like the old Sam's guide did though.

I had a TV service shop back in the 1970's. (LOOK TV) I had a subscription to SAM'S Photofacts and I got new ones every month. I had file cabinets full of them. lol...  Expensive but essential back then. You couldn't just download schematics!   :24:

TV's were their specialty, but they also published some for home computers.  I have one for a Commodore 64 around here somewhere.

My first C64 modem was 300bps.  Eventually upgraded to a 1200bps and wow, thought that was the cat's ass.  It was amazing the programs that ran in a mere 64kb of memory back then though.
