Bally Alpha S9-1 Touch screen help

I have a Bally Alpha s9-1 Devil and Diamonds machine. It has the 20'' top screen Tantung L20xx. Originally the machine would boot up and play, but the touch screen was unresponsive. I took the monitor apart to get to the controller board. While I was attempting to check voltage, my meter probe slipped and I shorted out the board. It was the 3m Touch Systems 5406120 REV3.0. Now when the machine boots, of course I get the touch screen error. So I believe, I now have a bad glass and a bad controller board. Does anyone have a used unit they wish to sell or know of a vendor for the controller board and glass? I have checked several sites and was unable to find one. Thank you for you time with this!

Try Suzo-Happ, just be sitting down, as they are not known for great prices. If you can get the part numbers of the things you need that would help. Many times, monitor parts are not described really, more just based on part numbers.

I may have what you need.. This monitor (Tatung L20XX) had bad burn-in so was used to steal parts off of and troubleshoot others. All known bad parts were tossed after troubleshitting so..  :cool_thumb_up:   The touchscreen wasn't taken, fan, cables, misc boards  etc.. You are welcome to have all seen in pics for the shipping cost plus a $10 donation to the site here.

Hopefully it works out.. - The touchscreen doesn't have any damage like it looks in the pic, that was just dust from sitting.

Understand that there is no lcd screen in the parts pile. What you see is the frame with the touchscreen glass.  You cannot replace the whole monitor, you will have to salvage the lcd from your bad unit and use the touchscreen and controller from this unit.  I hope this makes sense, I just didn't want you to think that this included the lcd panel, it is only the touchscreen glass plus other parts.  Heck the inverter and lcd controller board are worth the price of admission.

The LCD is in there, it just has burn-in.
