first s2000 slot

Hey everyone! I just got my first s2000 slot last saturday at an auction. I wanted to say hello and post a couple times so my account doesn't get deleted.
I picked up a 3 reel 3 coin max red white and blue "Sevens and Stars" 16" slot. It is coinless. (For now) with ticket out and bills in. Everything seems to work ok.
What do I need to do to the game other than put in a hopper, coin comparator, frame, etc., and coin chute? Are there settings I need to change?

Welcome to NLG and congratulations on your aquisition!
To complete the addition of coin handling you'll need to disable coinless mode in menu 7.1 and change limits in menu 3. Check with one of our vendors to aquire a key chip as you'll need it for menu 7 access. Post back here for any questions that may arise, but always remember, NEVER plug or unplug anything inside the machine while it's turned on

OK I will take some pics tonight when I get home and see if I am smart enough to post them. I am also getting a TITO board from Jim at Bettor slots but I read the instructions and now I am quaking in my boots! I'm hoping I am able to do the programming. :Scratch-Head:  I live in a state where these things are technically illegal but I figure if I can go to ticket in ticket out I'll be ok. Wish me luck everyone! :dancing_2:

The fact that you can make it a TITO machine does not make the machine any less illegal to have.  Most states word the law as any machine or parts thereof that can be used for gaming purposes, even if they are made to take tokens or tickets.  The only defense in most states is the machine is an antique, and that is why you have the "year" rules in most states.  Some people think they can get the guts out a cabinet and put them in a arcade looking cabinet and it is not longer prohibited, that is not the case, as long as the machines or their parts were made for gaming, it is still no legal.  A slot machine nowadays, technically, is nothing more than a computer with gaming software.  The laws are so messed up, you could take an empty slot cabinet, put a PC, a monitor and have a wireless keyboard in it AND run software to use the thing as a music jukebox, and it is still "illegal" to own based on the statute because technically the cabinet was "parts thereof" a gaming machine, thus making the whole contraption illegal.  That being said, a enforcement office is probably not going to seize your "jukebox" because it looks like a slot machine, but technically, you are not supposed to own any part thereof.

Who needs a Wheel of Fortune when you can just pull the string on your kid's See 'n Say?  Enough beers and singles and you and your buddies can have hours of fun with the RNG inside of this toy. 

I live in an "antique" state, and none of my games qualify.  Just use common sense and don't let the neighborhood kids put money in your machines.

was a very  bad sale     I needed jukes but our truck blew up  going home on fri  had no way of hauling stuff  home, we are in 24171 zip if you need another  can save you on auction fees ect
