I believe IGT puts them out....Was just curious if any of these can be purchased by a home slot owner of if due to copyright etc they are the type that get destroyed when they are taken out of service  (leased etc)?

I believe those are WAP games, as well as copyrighted. Even though games like Wheel of Fortune have the copyright issue, they occasionally sneak out instead of being returned to the manufacturer. Many of the WAP games are not able to set up for standalone use.

Chances are very slim...but that's what we thought about Wheel of Fortune 7-8 yrs ago....

Thanks...  I had another member contact me with a ST and LOTR....But I'm mainly looking for a Sex in the City for the wife or FG for me....Now I have an idea of price so it will be a few years until I could grab one anyway.

I would think the same card used on WOF wap games for use outside a casino would also work on the titles you listed. Finding the comm card and programming it is the trick...

Igt-s-avp-G-23 machines except for star trek-wms there.  Just a generic g-23 never surfaces and commands good money-same as top dollar-same cabinet.  There is always alternatives on driving the wap software if you have it.  Just high end nice stuff that dogs get off the porch to get and you never see it again.
Lot's to be said about these but the time should be getting close, Then You need to know what the heck you are looking at and be able to Deal with it.

The one I was asking about were IGT with the 46"ish vertical screen on top...

Price I got on the LOTR was around $5k I believe... Too rich for my blue collar blood..

Yes,  but totally different game...   Just like a Subaru is way cheaper than a Range Rover HSE.....  I will wait five to ten years until the price comes down..... Wife wanted Sex in the City,  I wanted FG or ST...
