Not sure if I’m in the right section. On my Bombay game after doing a ram clear I get two error messages and I’m just wondering if anyone knows how to get past them. Coin-in jam, and options verification required. At first there was main battery low but I changed that.

Does anyone know if I need a key 40 chip to clear and get into settings to set this machine back up and get rid of errors. Pic attached.

Key28 is needed for the IGT Enhanced 044 Processor board.


Also, check to be sure you have a Coin Comparator Jumper Plug installed in place of the Coin Handling equipment.


In the Keychip Menu,  turn off/disable Hopper and Coin Comparator.

Ok, let’s try this again.


IGT guys.....is there anything in settings of the machine, cpu, or do I need to clear machine in order to get a new bill validator to work. The one I have in this machine is very old and I only have one more like it. Rather switch it to a bill acceptor that I have plenty of and can replace with ease.


When I place a different bill acceptor in this machine it accepts money but doesn’t give the credits. I’m sure this machine can take a different bill acceptor as I have an identical machine running stinkin rich that has the bill acceptor I want to replace this one with inside and it works and functions properly.

Is it programmed for IGT ID024?

How can I figure that out? Is that what it needs to be setup on to install new billval?

IGT game king/I-game and s2000 all need to be ID024.  Which game did it come from?

The new acceptor I’m trying to put in didn’t come from any game. Most of the wms 550 machines I have use the OZZ Bill acceptors so I have a bunch of spares in the box that haven’t been used. Trying to put one of those in this game. Currently has a 7400-db1-USA from pyramid in it but that has stopped accepting money. Spits it out every time. I have a wms 550 with the same exact acceptor that I could swap for this machine I guess but I’m trying to do away with that type all around.


Is this a situation where I have to flash the bill acceptor to be used for a different system. Ran into that on an iVizion acceptor I bought online flashed for a Bally that I needed to use in an Aruze machine. I was just under the impression that these pyramid or OZZ acceptors would be easier for the IGT machines. Just don’t know what I need to do to put a new acceptor in an IGT machine running an enhanced 044 board.

Yes.  Firmware has to be flashed or some you can change the eprom, depending on model.

Thanks for the help on this one. It has been solved. Machine is up and working properly with new bill acceptor.
