Newbie with questions - Double Double Diamond slot

Hi all,


We just purchased this machine yesterday for home use, and since we bought it at an auction, it did not come with anything.  However, it does work with the bill acceptor.  No coin comparitor or hopper though.

We have the SB100196 Stepper Base chip and SG000363 for the Stepper GME chips.


In the Key Config menu, it says I have LS007211 game with 98.05%.  I'm not really sure what the percentage tables mean in the link above, I thought higher percentages paid out more often?  Our machine doesn't seem like it pays very often at all.


Now, as I see it, I have a couple of options because we need a new top glass with the payout information table for the machine.


Either, I can see if I can get the top glass for this machine along with the clear and key chips, possibly key hardware as well
Or, I can see if I can get a complete new game setup kit since I have to buy so much anyway.  We really like the Haywire type games or at least the Deluxe where the reels will go up or down based on arrows.


If there isn't too much price difference, we would do the 2nd option.


  Which clear/key chips do I need?  There seems to be 2-3 different options, but it is not clear to me on which one I need.
I looked at all of the preferred vendors and didn't see anybody with the Double Double Diamond glass, anybody know of someone selling that?  What about haywire/deluxe game kits with everything included?

Finding the glass should not be hard.
Key Chips should be 31 clear would be a 97 or 224
The only reason to use a clear is if the accounting denomination is not set to $0.01 (1 cent) which gives you the most flexibility iif you change player denomination.
   
It is configured for the highest payout which for most S2000 3 reel themes is about 98%
The link you included is for the S+, the SS numbers will not match the numbers for a S2000 base chip's pay tables.
The Base Chip actually holds 5 or more pay tables per theme, usually ranging from 98% to 85%.
There is a link on main page for the S2000 themes but many of the older themes may not included.

The thing to remember about that percentage is based on millions games played.
So in the short term it can seem to on a cold spell.
It can hit payouts back to back as well.
The Random Number Generator does not care what the last outcome was just like a pair of dice that are being shaken for a roll.


Many S2000's that are coming out of casino's do not have coin handling because most casinos use TITO.
A few of us on here also use TITO on our machines.
If you want to add the parts for tokens / coins any of the vendors on main page have the parts to do so.

Haywire Deluxe is a rare rare theme.
Check with our valued vendors listed on the main page. they should be able to find you the glass.

I see you have the Double Double Diamond.  That is a volatile game in general, will have hot and cold payout spells.  Give it some time, you will hit a nice pay.  The pays are less frequent, but higher with this game.  Something like a regular Double Diamond or Double Deluxe will give you more frequent, but lesser pays.

Thanks foster, all of the denomination stuff is set to $0.25 but I don't know that we will actually use accounting since it is just for home.


We do have a ticket printer, but it did not print when we hit cash out.  It just said, Call Attendant until we reset the machine.  I would love to get the ticket printer working, but not sure how to do that.  It does have some left over tickets already so I thought it should print.


I wasn't aware that page was for the S+ machine, I just assumed that SS7211 = LS007211 since the last 4 digits were the same.   


As far as the Haywire Deluxe game, that would be awesome, but I meant any Haywire or Deluxe game, Double Diamond Haywire, Triple Diamond Haywire, or RWB Deluxe, etc...
