Igt s-2000 and s+ Bonus Sizzling 7's Top light bar Differences

This came to be when one of the kits for these was for sale here-which has been sold and there was discussion about the top light bonus bar.  I am posting this for Danny-Slottex which was having trouble loading the pics. here.  First three pics will be S-2000 version, Last two will be s+ and you can see the diff. in the boards,wiring etc.

Barry Thanks, From what I see I do not think the S+ top light bar can converted to a S2000 !!!

I made this up a while back on my S+ light bar. Don't have any info on the S-2000 one.
Of course the voltage is 6V on the S+ verses 12V on the S-2000.

My  Bonus Lamp assembly is #75110400 Rev B from an S+ with 9 lamps but uses 7
on this game. The harness is #609-67100 Rev a 07/98.

Ron, if i sent you my Light Bar for the S2000 do you think you might be able to figure out how to convert the S+ bar to work on the S2000 ? I have 3 S+ Bars but only 1 S2000.

I wish I could but I don't have the right equipment to check the board. This may be the problem on converting to 12V. Of course if you want to sell it I would be your first customer.

Maybe someone that has the equipment to check or read the components can chime in.

Slottex, after I reviewed the pictures of both circuit  boards they are completely different. The S+ has many components
including transistors for each lamp and many EPROMS. S-2000 has very few components. The only thing similar is the lamp holders.
Sorry there is no way the S+ boards could be modified to fit and S-2000.

Thought I would revive this older thread as I see the questions coming up again, The S+ Will not work in a S-2000.
