BB2 with standard button panel vs OLED
« on: March 16, 2024, 01:43:18 PM »
Do most games for BB2 machines work with standard button panels?  I have a friend thinking of buying a BB2 that the seller changed the button panel to standard so he can play Lord of the Rings two towers on.  I think that the special features in that game need to have the OLED panel to see each feature or he would have to use the touch screen to access them.  Any thoughts about this?  He also wants to play other games as well.

You would need the OLED panel to play LOTR as far as I know. Most of my BB2 games use the OLED panel.

LOTR should be just fine with the standard button panel.

There are a select few games like Star Trek that only play with the standard panel.

I run a standard deck with the extra spin button and have never had an issue with BB2 games.
