5500 bally reel questions

ok so when you turn game on reel 3 just keep spinning. so i figured it was a motor issue or op/ board issue was this the right thing to do anyway so i got a used one.the reels on the motor was smashed so i just swap reel.now they dont line up.reel stripes are installed correctly.any help would be appreciated.thanks

Have you done a clear so the reels will recalibrate .

yes i did  that today no help and now that reel is spinning just like before.i posted to see what game it is since i did a 5500 safe ram clear and was just today thats what the game was

Remove the reels  and Check the harness that goes from the front of the reels and goes to the motherboard.  Reseat it at the MB.

Afterwards, keep the door open and see if the reel is still spinning.  If it is,  keep the door open and use the reset key and turn the key switch that is on the outside next to the pull handle.  Then close the door.
