Game King Software questions
« on: February 17, 2016, 05:53:58 AM »
I'm a new guy here. Not really, since I've been reading here for quite a while trying to learn. Thanks to everyone for their contributions.

I have a Game King running on an 039 board with GK 4.3 software.
Base = M0000838
Game = G0002771
PXL = C0000793
SND = SW000046

I'm a video poker player and this game set has LOTS of poker, a few Keno games, a couple slots and Blackjack. I can set up a nice mix of games and denominations. I have a Bettor TITO board that's great and I've even been able to set up a stand alone progressive on one of the poker games. Lots of fun.

Unfortunately, none of the available pay tables have theoretical payout of > 100%. I would really like to be able to add those games, like Full Pay Deuces, 10/7 Double Bonus, 10/6 Double-Double Bonus, etc. From what I have read here, the BASE chip contains the payables. So I did a data dump of the BASE chip onto a computer and browsed the resulting data and I can verify that to be the case. So, I'm guessing that different BASE chips are used in different locations where gaming regulations may or may not allow 100% games. Is there a BASE chip that's compatible with the others, perhaps used in Nevada, where I've seen and played the above games?

It seems the IGT documentation on this software is held very closely. I suppose that's reasonable, considering the amount of money that's run through their machines every day and what could be at risk if the information was more widely available.

If anybody has more information about the above software and can send it to me, I'd be appreciative. Since I don't want to be all take and no give, I'm working up a spreadsheet that details all of the payables available on the above chip set and if it's not considered bad form, I'll upload it here in the next few days.

Hi Dan,

Base Chip M0000837 is what you want then.  It has 100%+ paytables for those games.

Do you have a burner?  If not, then post a WTB for that Base chip and I'm sure one of our vendors can probably come up with one for you.
