Is it similar to IGT, Bally/WMS as far as the setup is concerned.  I'm thinking of getting one, but before I do, I would like to get any information regarding clear, setup, bios/os issues, etc so I'm better prepared when I get one home.

They are much harder to setup.MK7 is a bit easier than the MK6 though.If you get one I can help you set it up.

Well, like everything else, dive in and figure it out on the go!  I finally got mine a couple of weeks ago.  Been experimenting with clearing games and setting up various options.  If I could get my hands on the par files for the games, it would be a lot easier.  The game came with the dynamic button panel, which is really cool.  I don't think the home TITO products will work, so far I've not been able to find the "System Validation" option, only Secure Enhanced Validation.
