Need help with avp 2.5

hi I am having a pass of bad luck trying to get my avp set up. It’s a trimline that was a 2.0 I recently upgraded to a 2.5 for the time being. Lots of parts involved and now it is easier to go to a 3.0. I had a ekey 7 and a diag usb copy I was using when it was a 2.0. They disappeared when I loaned them to a tech. So I bought a new set from a member. When I try to boot to the diag key I get the error in the image. I am assuming this is because the diag key is 14-21 and too new for the 2.5. I also tried it in the other 2.0’s I have that worked with my old set with the same error. I have tried everything else I can think of. The boots in all of my machines are 14b and they have 14a09 os or did until the hard drives died  which are also new now. Anyone have any ideas?

Ok got it to work with diagnostic 14-09. Next question. I loaded os 14a09 thinking I had 14b boots. I didn’t check first. Turns out I have avpshow014-07 boots. Anyone have any idea which os is compatible?

In case anyone has been following or is interested after trial and error with different os’s thanks to a few friends the winner was AIO1409Z. Got it loaded up on a new ssd with 2gb of ram along with 45 games and it’s running great.

You need the "special" boot chip.  Then you can load up to 100 games.

Oops, my bad.  forgot that chip works only with the 3.0's.  I think it's cool enough that I would just upgrade to a 3.0 Brain box.  They are getting cheaper on Ebay I notice.

Mvco, i have the special boots working on a 2.5. I even know someone that has them on a 2.0. I guess igt made them for all platforms.
