Need Help with OLED

I bought a AVP SMLD slot without a button deck in it.  Harness was there for the mechanical buttons.  I installed an OLED deck I had which is a 10 button OLED.  This is what happening.  OLED buttons work but the mechanical buttons are doing this.  The service button is doing the same thing as the repeat the bet button and the bet one credit button is doing the same thing as the max bet button.  In other words, pushing the service button repeats the bet and pushing the bet one button makes a max bet.  Little switch on the board is set with 2 on. I hope this makes sense.  Wrong harness?  Wrong switch setting??  Board needs flashed??  Whats wrong??  Pictures attached.

My guess is, that the mechanical button part of the harness is the wrong type.  On my G20, the buttons to either side of the machine do what you are describing, although it varies from game to game as in some games the buttons on the left do nothing.

I think it's for 14 dynamic buttons but it might add some incite.

I have a machine in storage with the same deck.


I could probably stop by the end of the week and take a look at what the dip switch positions are and anything else you have questions on?

Thanks for posting the pictures.  Can you find the tag for the mechanical button harness that goes back to the backfin board?  That would help a lot on this.  Also let me know what switches are turned on on the usb board.  Picture is kinda fuzzy and I cant tell which ones are on..

I am not sure which bank of switches you are referring to, so I included both.

The one on the blackfin with 4 switches appear to all be OFF.

The one on the little board attached to the door with 6 switches appears to be 1 ON and the rest OFF.

Good News.  I have the deck working perfectly.  The settings on the 6 switch dip was wrong.  It needs to be set to 1 and not 2 like my original setting.  Thanks to all for comments and pictures.  Ted
