Adding Memory to G23

I only have 2gb of memory and need to purchase additional,  any suggestions as to mfg or memory type.

Do you have one memory stick or two installed on your mpu?  If you have one, just buy the identical memory to what you have.  If you have 2 sticks of (1GB) then you need to purchase a pair of 2GB sticks.  IGT used transcend 2gb ddr2 800 low profile desktop memory.

Yes, those are it.  You need to have at least a 3.0M mpu for them to work though.

Pull out the mpu and take off the top cover, you will see the memory dimms installed on their slots.

Have attached photos of the memory in my G23 machine. Just confirming the ebay link I sent Rick is the right ones for my machine and its a 3.0 MPU?

Yes, you have a 2GB dimm, you can put another one in the other slot for 4GB.  That is your Max Memory size.
