G22 Slant issue

Hello, noob here to the site.  I recently acquired a G22 slant that has an issue that has me scratching my head.  I have the button panel with the repeat bet, and max bet buttons on both side of the oled 10 button set.  The repeat bet and max bet buttons on the right hand side work as they should, and so does the max bet button on the left side.  When the repeat bet is pressed on the left side it performs a cash out. 
I'm unaware if buttons can be programed to perform different functions on this machine, has anyone else run into this???  Any ideas how to correct this?  I do have the large oval shaped cash out button, which functions properly also.

There's a discussion on a similar issue to yours.  I believe it has to do with the way the dip switches are configured on the control board.  Understand that when these machines are deployed in the casinos, the manufacturers set them up so that the button configuration is correct for the game types that are installed at deployment.  Once we get them home and start putting in the games/OS/etc that we choose, the hardware configuration may not match.  In fact, some buttons on the left are game dependent, so you may never get them to work as repeat bet and max bet unless you just bridge the right buttons with the left and disconnect the original plugs on the left side.

I did notice the left max bet button only works or is active for certain games, but the left repeat bet button is always active, but only as a cash out function.  I never thought about bridging the buttons from right to left.  I assume running jumper wires (in-line) from the right to left buttons would accomplish this?  I have already unplugged the left repeat bet button because my youngster keeps pushing it and performing cash outs.

I'm also wondering if anyone knows the part number for the max bet and repeat bet buttons.  I'm having trouble finding replacements for them.  They are not smart buttons.  See photos.


They appear to be the same for the G20, and G23 that have the non edge lit button panels.

My buttons on the left side were inactive as well. I configured them using the Ekey7 in the settings so you can use either side for max bet and Repeat Bet.

Where in the settings did you see that? I feel like I’ve been all over in the menus and haven’t seen that. My 2 left buttons work on some games and not on others... I thought it was game specific.

I don't have my machine booted up at the moment but I believe it's in Setup, Machine, Button Panel

If you get a moment take a pic of how you have it set after you click on the button panel.  I played around with that last night but couldn't seem to get it to work. 
My left max bet button on my machine is button 10, which was already set to max bet...but only functions on a couple games.  My left repeat bet button is listed as button 8, and for some reason is linked to the cashout button, with no option to change. 
My machine only allows me to adjust buttons 9 and 10, and none other.
