No igt signature

I am new to the g20 from igt.  If the ribbon cable between i/o pci and controller board is pulled off and possibly damaged.  Will this cause a no igt signature error?  Is it just a matter of replacing ribbon cable or does some kind of clear need to be done?

Replacing the ribbon cable should fix it.

I think the IGT signature is derived from the card in the brainbox.Ive been tested multiple brainboxes on the bench with a ATX power supply and the only time I have ever gotten the no IGT signature is when the Boot was missing from the card or the whole card missing.I would think the ribbon cable would cause a E2 error.I am still slightly new to AVP so take this with a grain of salt.
