I removed the blower fans. The ones inside. You can use the plugs from the blower fans to power the LED's.
PM you email address. i'll send you some info on the process of changing over.

There is a very easy way to return from a casino with a small fortune; go there with a large one.

I'm considering changing a Sharp LQ10D421 10" monitor from CCFL to LED. This is the monitor in IGT S2000 Vision game.

Wondering if anyone has done the mod and changed over to LED? Happy with the result in terms of brightness, etc.? Any tips for wiring it in?

Does anyone have the instructions that have replaced their CCFL light to LEDs?? are you using the power from the removed fans to power? if so why not do a LED light panel that is 12v with a diffuser overlay to spread out the light. A 12v light panel can be made to size an only use 1 of the 12vdc fan power and still maybe run 1 fan and remove 1. anybody with the instructions?

It seems like a led backlight sheet would be a better option.  Like what is in the newer models of the MLDs. Can’t seem to find a 12V one though.

That looks really nice. Wonder what happened earlier in this post. There was one updated that didn’t look so good. Remembered I have a dead panel that has the backlight led sheets in it. I may do some experimenting by putting those sheets in an older model.

I know this is about CCFL to LEDs but has anyone replaced the CCFLs on one that is getting dark and were you happy with results?
