G22: Storage authentication failed!

Anybody know what this is or how to fix it? I wiped the cabinet memory and safe storage, thinking that it might solved the problem but it didn't.

This is going to be one of a couple of things.

1. Bad Boot Chips
2. Bad Hard Drive
3. Bad NVRAM Board (Board that ribbon connects too)

I figured it out  its was the ribbon cable. So all is good now.

I just wanted to add some information on this error that may help someone in the future. I had a game cause the authentication error. In my case it was Golden Goddess. The machine was more or less in a boot loop after I installed it. I was able to fix this by using the diagnostic key and removing the game package. Hope this helps someone out.

It may of been because your Golden Goddess version was an FAMILY 020 version than an FAM014 Version.
At least, that's what happened to me....lol

Your machine is a G22?
I thought the AVP's were G20 and G23?
Correct me if I'm mistaken....thanks

You're mistaken.  Google IGT G22.

Yes I do have a G20. I misread the initial post. I thought they were talking about an AVP machine. Thanks for clarifying that this error was for a G22.
