Bally Alpha Super Topper

Doe's any one know what the small toggle switch and rotary rheostat control that is connected inside the topper of a Bally Alpha super topper? Thanks. Bill.

I would also like to know.One of my toppers has them but as wired they do not appear to do anything.

The switch has 2 solid black wires and the Rheostat has 2 solid gray wires.Maybe for a Super Candle ?

Hi Charles,It doesn't appear to make any difference in any configuration. When I got the topper all the wires,switch and rheostat were hanging and I just installed it and plugged it in.It does not have a candle and I do not have the height to install one.I did not take it apart to check the wiring configuration.

It's definately NOT for the Super Candle as I have bought 2 of them in the past (1 us currently working). The first one was just the super candle itself. Comes with the standard candle plug and a 2nd molex connector for the Super part. When I bought I topper with the Super Candle on ebay (bought the topper to strip the Super candle off of it), the topper did have this rotary switch on it. So it MUST have something to do with the topper itself and NOT the Super Candle.
