Alpha Game Maker Ticket Printer

I'm setting up this Alpha Game Maker and I am having problems with the cash out going to the printer, it go's to hand pay. I saw in the setup where there is a config. screen for the printer, which I never saw before on Alpha's, so maybe I'm missing something. Thanks.

How did you setup the validation section.  If you are stand-alone, you need to setup the validaton to standard.  And your jurisdictional chip needs to allow it.  California Tribal is one of the ones that does.  Nevada for sure does not.

Have you tested that printer on another bally alpha?  Maybe it has the wrong firmware?

Got me there then.  Usually when this happens to me it's because the printer is off-line, no paper, wrong firmware, or the TITO board is unplugged.  I would move printer to a known working machine to make sure it's not a printer issue, although typically you get a com error if it was the printer.
